General description of the residence
The CHALET des REVES ***** (500 m² living space, 3 levels) is a large traditional village house completely restored and renovated by its owners from 2019 to 2022 (3 years).
Located in an old hamlet - CHAMPAGNY - Le VILLARD DESSOUS - under the village church - the CHALET des REVES faces the nature of the Alps: a quiet pasture in the front line, the peaks of Vanoise on the horizon, COURCHEVEL and its ski area diagonally to the SOUTH-WEST.
CHALET des RÊVES is built from local stone: they have been carefully restored. The NORTH façade reveals the old stone wall which has been sanded. The other façades feature modernised components: large glazed openings, balconies from the bedrooms and living room to the SOUTH that capture sunlight.
The house is equipped with current technologies:
WIFI on all levels.
Indoor lift,
Underfloor heating,
Top-level appliances..
Environmental quality from Nordic countries, heating by heat pump.
SAUNA and HAMMAM installed under the ribbed vaults of the old barns.
6 luxurious SUITE bedrooms are spread from the garden level to the first floor.
On the upper floor, a huge space under the roof houses a gourmet kitchen, a dining table for 12 guests, a friendly living room that circles around the fireplace and wood fire, a friendly bar and a small TV lounge.
