Not to mention, of course, the stunning viewpoint of the Italian slope of Mont Blanc from the Col de la Madeleine (at 2000 metres altitude).
The ski area benefits from high-quality snow accessible to skiers of all levels and for all types of skiing. Between Maurienne and Tarentaise, the ski area of Saint François Longchamp, along with its neighbour Valmorel, opens up the GRAND DOMAINE, surrounding the famous Col de la Madeleine. Skiers can experience a vertical drop of 1300m in one of the first ski areas in Savoy.
