General description of the residence
Location: In the heart of the Maurienne Valley at 1650m altitude, Saint Francois Longchamp is a resort with a mountain spirit that is a lovely place to be. A panoramic view allows you to admire the Cheval Noir massif, the Lauzière massif, and the Belledonne range. Not to mention, of course, the stunning viewpoint of the Italian side of Mont Blanc from the Col de la Madeleine (at 2000 metres altitude).
The ski area benefits from quality snowfall accessible to skiers of all levels and for all types of sliding. Between Maurienne and Tarentaise, the ski area of Saint Francois Longchamp, together with its neighbour Valmorel, opens up the GRAND DOMAINE, surrounding the famous Col de la Madeleine. Skiers can go mountain hopping over a drop of 1300m in one of the first ski areas in Savoie.
For fans of cold snow and sunshine, don’t forget the sunscreen: Saint Francois Longchamp is THE "ski-sun" spot!
