Méribel-Mottaret, situated at an altitude of 1750 m, is the second centre of Méribel. The Chatelet area is located on the left side of the resort, at the foot of the Vanoise National Park and its beautiful Tuéda lake, where cross-country skiing can be enjoyed in the heart of the nature reserve.
Here, you are truly ski-in/ski-out. Thanks to the pedestrian walkways, you can directly access the slopes, lifts, the ski school meeting point, and the children's garden.
At the foot of the residences, you will find all the local shops: ski shops, convenience stores, restaurants, and bars. Just 200 m further down, you can also enjoy the shops in Mottaret, the tourist office, and the pharmacy.
Finally, you can reach Méribel Centre by taking the free shuttle (line D) or directly via the Truite slope.
