About Chalet La Grande Sassière

The Chalet la Grande Sassière is located in the famous resort of Val d’Isère, placed on a quiet private path, which offers a breathtaking view of the valley. The resort of Val d’Isère is connected to Tignes, offering a ski area with over 300 km of slopes, for all levels and one of the best snow conditions in France. The village itself is typically Savoyard, with charming stone and wooden chalets and a beautiful town centre, with a wide range of shops and delicious restaurants and bars. The chalet is situated in the "Le Cret" area of the resort, about a 12-minute walk from the centre of Val d'Isère, roughly halfway between La Daille and Val d'Isère, which is ideal if you wish to head towards the slopes of Tignes, as access is quick from La Daille. For a quicker journey to the town, a free shuttle stops a few minutes’ walk from the chalet.
