By plane By plane

The resort is easily accessible from France, Europe, and beyond via Geneva Airport, located just 70 km away, making it a good option for travelers seeking convenience for their ski trips.  For public transport options:

  • Take a train to Geneva Cornavin station – reservations required for your ski journey.
  • Board a Léman Express train to Cluses station – reservations required for yor ski trip.
  • Take an Altibus from Cluses station to Flaine resort – reservations required for the ski transfer.

By car By car

Flaine is easily accessible by car. From Geneva, take the A40 motorway towards Chamonix and exit at the Cluses exit (No. 19). Follow the D4 road to reach Flaine. The journey from Geneva takes approximately 1.5 hours. The drive from Lyon or Paris takes around 3 to 4 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions.

By train By train

The nearest major train station to Flaine is at Cluses, located about 30 kilometers (18 miles) from the resort. From Cluses station, you can take a shuttle bus or taxi to Flaine. Trains from Paris, Lyon, and Geneva regularly arrive at Cluses, making it a convenient option for reaching the resort by rail. The train journey from Paris takes approximately 4 hours, while from Geneva, it’s about 1.5 hours.
