General description of the residence

Location: The hotel is situated in the heart of the resort, 300 metres from the shopping facilities, with direct access to the "Alpes Express" gondola for a ski-in departure.
Hotel: With an authentic style, the hotel offers 46 rooms with balconies overlooking the mountains. Access to the wellness area, Wi-Fi, and shuttle service is included.
Catering: Breakfast or half-board options included, depending on your preferences.

The hotel offers 2 different dining options: - Either with breakfast included. - Or with half-board included. Breakfast: Served in the restaurant from 7:30 am to 10:00 am. Lunch: Served at the hotel restaurant from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm. Dinner: Served at the hotel restaurant from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm. The restaurant: It has a seasonal menu and highlights seasonal produce, local meats, and homemade pastries. Vegetarian options as well as a children's menu are available. Room service is possible from 8:00 am to 3:00 am. The bar: It is open from 10:00 am to midnight and features an indoor area and a terrace to enjoy the nice weather (charcuterie boards, cheese…). The tea room: Discover a selection of cakes and homemade pastries for afternoon tea with a choice of teas, hot or refreshing drinks.

About Hôtel Au Chamois D’Or 5*

The hotel Au Chamois d'Or 5* is located in the Alpe d'Huez resort, just 350 metres (4 minutes on foot) from the nearest supermarket, a stone's throw from the slopes and close to the ski lifts. Nicknamed "La Belle Endormie," the Alpe d'Huez resort offers a 360° panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and features a multitude of activities: 2 snowparks, a 2-kilometre toboggan run, rail sledging, an ice cave, microlighting, a cinema, a nightclub, not to mention unique experiences such as panoramic fondue or yoga at an altitude of 3,300 metres. The ski area boasts 250 kilometres of slopes, spread across 131 runs suitable for all levels, peaking at 3,330 metres in altitude.

Thanks to its rustic style, the chalet-hotel showcases mountain architecture combining wood and stone, while providing maximum light. Its 46 rooms, elegantly decorated in a luxurious and comfortable style, all come with a balcony offering breathtaking views of the mountains. On-site, enjoy an 800 m² wellness area, free Wi-Fi access, and a shuttle service. A bar and a bistronomic restaurant are also available at an additional charge.
