Hotel Daria-I Nor, whose name means "Sea of Light", is a jewel in the crown of the Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine ski area. Largely inspired by the diamond's rich history, the hotel's decor and architecture offer a clever blend of styles in warm, cocooning tones, a subtle alliance with the spectacular setting of the Grandes Rousses massif.
Location : In l'Alpe d'Huez at an altitude of 1860 m. Numerous activities available in the resort: 250 km of pistes with a 2200 m vertical drop, 35 km of snowshoe walks and 50 km of cross-country ski trails. Departure and return by cable car just a few metres from the residence.
Hotel : Comfortable, luxurious rooms decorated with meticulous attention to detail, combining noble materials such as wood, velvet and imitation leather. On-site facilities: 800m² spa and wellness area with swimming pool, sauna, a hammam, jacuzzi, salt wall, sensory showers, ice fountain and solarium, a fitness room and WIFI. Ski hire shop on site.
Restaurant facilities :
La Table du Daria: In a refined setting, you'll enjoy traditional cuisine revisited. The restaurant focuses on conviviality and offers a 5-course dinner menu, which is included in the half-board package.
Daria I Nor Bar and Terrace: Relax all day long around the large fireplace or on the sun-drenched terrace. In the evening, enjoy the piano bar atmosphere and taste the creations of the Head Barman. For cigar aficionados, there's also a cigar cellar and smoking room. Throughout the day, savour a menu of dishes specially concocted for those with small appetites or big appetites.
There's also a children's menu and a wide choice of baby food.

Extracted from the same mine as the famous Le Koh-I Nor diamond, the Daria-I Nor 5* Hotel opened in December 2018. The hotel is located in the heart of the Alpe d'Huez resort. It has 37 rooms and 9 suites. All rooms systematically offer the following services: private balcony, safe, minibar, Nespresso coffee machine, direct dial telephone, flat-screen TV, satellite TV, wifi access, bathroom and separate toilet...the hotel has 2 restaurants including for breakfast and every evening as part of the half-board. A lounge bar is also available.
