What skiers say about the resort
Very happy with our stay at Serre Chevalier at the Residence Le Hameau du Rocher Blanc.
+ accessibility, free parking, close to shops, close to the slopes, large ski locker, near the elevator (convenient), south-facing terrace - small, uncomfortable bedding, bathtub too small, no wifi, cutlery with rust stains, near the elevator (noise)
Located right next to the gondola. A bit noisy due to other guests at the same time as us. No raclette appliance.
Correct equipment. Good bedding. Slight downside: the sofa covers had been removed for washing and not replaced. Negative point: no ski lockers.
Very nice apartment with all the necessary amenities!
We just finished our week at Serres Chevalier, residence Le Galibier, apartment 104. The station is exceptional, and the location of the residence is ideal at the foot of the slopes, which is a huge plus! The residence also has a ski locker and storage room, and parking for the car, which are great advantages. For us, it was our first time traveling with Travelski, and we opted for the package that included accommodation, ski lifts, and equipment. There’s nothing to complain about; everything was well-organized, and it’s quite comfortable to just unwind upon arrival.... However, the only downside was the apartment for four people, which has a mountain corner with two bunk beds and a sofa bed for two. In this apartment, there was no storage for our ski gear or our everyday belongings... At the entrance, there was a closet for coats with space above for our helmets and backpacks, and in the living room, a large empty closet that was not equipped for a vacuum and broom, with bedding and pillows stored above.... We couldn’t store anything in that closet... it only had a small chest of drawers for underwear and socks... for everything else, we left our big travel bag in the already small living room, and all our other gear like suits and gloves on the balcony. I think this apartment shouldn’t be offered for ski rentals until a closet is set up for a minimum of storage. Another downside is the quality of the sofa bed in the living room, which is very poor and not suitable for two adults for a week; after a day of skiing, a minimum level of comfort for sleeping is essential! Very good sofa beds come with quality mattresses... I believe that to rent this apartment, it is crucial to address these two issues. Last year, we stayed in this residence in the same type of apartment with the same size, and everything was perfect, so it is possible. It’s a pity because our week was perfect, and there was nothing to criticize about the all-inclusive Travelski package, but the apartment was not great.
Very hard sofa bed, the quality of the room was acceptable but not luxurious. Only one socket in the kitchen and barely any storage space. The ski lockers were great.
Well-located and well-furnished apartment. Very good stay.
Not comfortable for beginners in skiing/snowboarding.
Amazing welcome team. The lady at the reception provides very detailed explanations. Accommodations with plenty of light, greatly appreciated. At the foot of the slopes. The only thing missing is parking spaces for cars. Thank you. We will gladly return next year.
