General description of the residence
Location: At the heart of the Maurienne Valley at 1650m altitude, Saint François Longchamp is a mountain resort with a welcoming atmosphere. A panoramic view allows you to admire the Cheval Noir massif, the Lauzière massif, and the Belledonne range. Not to forget, of course, the magnificent viewpoint over the Italian side of Mont Blanc from the col de la Madeleine (at 2000 metres altitude).
The ski area benefits from quality snow accessible to skiers of all levels and for all types of skiing. Between Maurienne and Tarentaise, the ski area of Saint François Longchamp, alongside its neighbour Valmorel, opens up the GRAND DOMAINE, around the famous Col de la Madeleine. Skiers can hop from mountain to mountain over 1300m of elevation change in one of the first ski areas in Savoie.
Fans of cold snow and sunshine, don't forget the sunscreen: Saint François Longchamp is the spot for "ski-sun"!
