General description of the residence
Location: In the heart of the Maurienne Valley at 1650m altitude, Saint François Longchamp is a mountain resort with a charming atmosphere where life is good. A panoramic view allows you to admire the Cheval Noir massif, the Lauzière massif, and the Belledonne range. Not to forget, of course, the magnificent viewpoint over the Italian side of Mont Blanc from the Col de la Madeleine (at 2000 metres altitude).
The ski area benefits from quality snow conditions accessible to skiers of all levels and disciplines. Between Maurienne and Tarentaise, the ski area of Saint-François Longchamp, along with its neighbour Valmorel, opens up the GRAND DOMAINE around the famous Col de la Madeleine. Skiers can enjoy a vertical drop of 1300m in one of the first ski areas in Savoie.
If you love cold snow and sunshine, don't forget the sunscreen: Saint-François Longchamp is THE "ski-sun" spot!
