Find your ski holidays at Val Cenis
Located between 1,300 and 2,800 meters above sea level and close to the French-Italian border, Val Cenis ski resort is the largest ski resort in Haute Maurienne. It is part of the Espace Haute Maurienne Vanoise ski area, connecting six Savoie resorts: Aussois, Bonneval-Sur-Arc, Bessans, La Norma, Valfréjus, and Val Cenis.
The resort features 350 kilometers of ski pistes, with numerous ski lifts serving the area, ideal for all winter sports enthusiasts. In addition, there are 200 kilometers of cross-country ski trails for those seeking a different experience. With its varied terrain, Val Cenis offers a perfect mix of slopes for both beginners and advanced skiers. Whether you’re exploring the village or hitting the high-altitude slopes, Val Cenis has something for everyone. To fully enjoy your ski holiday in the Espace Haute Maurienne Vanoise (HMV) area, we recommend staying at least one week and purchasing the six-day ski pass. This pass allows you to explore one resort per day within the ski area. For example, if you stay in Val Cenis and arrive on Sunday evening, you can ski at Val Cenis on Monday, La Norma on Tuesday, Aussois on Wednesday, and so on, without needing to drive between resorts.
The resorts are all connected by a bus service, and with your ski pass, you can easily access this transport. Since Val Cenis is centrally located within the HMV area, it is quicker to reach resorts located at the ends of the area. Whether you’re staying in the village of Lanslebourg or enjoying the base of Val Cenis, the area’s ski lifts, expansive terrain, and high-altitude slopes provide an unforgettable skiing experience for all. With over 350 kilometers of ski pistes to explore and easy access to the ski lifts, your skiing adventure in Val Cenis ski resort will be truly memorable.
