Find your perfect ski holiday
During your ski holiday, you can enjoy a wide range of activities: sliding, ice sports, outings with friends or family, on rails or on the slopes… there’s something for every taste, budget, and interest. Discover a recent activity, snakegliss, and try it on your next trip. What is snakegliss?
Snakegliss is one of the winter sports that have emerged in recent years. It is offered at certain ski resorts in France. The concept is simple: up to 12 sleds are linked together to form a snake-like train. The whole group powers the ride, so it requires team spirit – making this activity perfect for friends or family! For about an hour, you can use reserved slopes or ski runs after they close, allowing you to enjoy a unique view of nature at sunset or even take part in night rides.

Depending on the experience you’re looking for, everyone takes a strategic position. At the front, children and adults who prefer a gentle ride will be happy. At the back, thrill-seekers will be delighted, as the turns are felt most there – watch out for falls and sore muscles! It is also possible to create faster or more relaxed trains depending on the group’s preference.
If you enjoy speed and excitement, we highly recommend snow tubing, a unique sliding experience.
Snakegliss is accessible to anyone able to use a sled. Children must be at least 1.10 m tall and can share a sled with their guardian. Some slopes may have age restrictions. The activity is always supervised by a certified instructor who takes charge of the ride.
For snakegliss, sleds and mandatory protective helmets are included in the price. Sleds cannot be rented or sold to individuals, as a certified instructor always supervises the ride.
For an enjoyable ride, bring warm clothing, ski wear if needed, gloves, a hat, ski goggles or glasses, and warm shoes. Please note, ski boots are not allowed on the sled.
Depending on the resort, prices range from around €10 to €30 per person for descents of 3 km to 8 km. Group rates and reduced fares may be available. Chairlift rides are not always included in the price.
