In the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France, the Bourg Saint Maurice is uniquely well-serviced by transport, with a Eurostar station arriving here directly from King’s Cross. It takes between 9 and 10 hours approximately to get to Bourg Saint Maurice from King’s Cross, but with the convenient option of going by night train, it can still be a better and more convenient option than getting to the Alps by plane or by car.
Not only is Bourg Saint Maurice ideally-located and surrounded by an abundance of exceptional French ski resorts, it is also an incredibly charming town in its own right. On the periphery of the Vanoise National Park, Bourg Saint Maurice is engulfed with an area of outstanding natural beauty and has all the amenities you would expect from such a well-serviced Alpine town.
