Why Choose to Ski in Peisey Vallandry?

With an altitude of between 1200 and 3226m, Peisey-Vallandry is a beautiful ski resort in the Savoie region of France, located in a valley high up in the mountains at the entrance to the Vanoise National Park.

With access to 200km of slopes, Peisey-Vallandry is an authentic family-friendly village resort, comprised of traditional houses and pedestrian alleyways, surrounded by high icy peaks. The sunny valley, protected by forests, provides not only a magnificent view of the surroundings but is also home to the well-preserved handcraft and agricultural traditions of the area. You’re guaranteed a warm welcome in Peisey-Vallandry in the various cottages, chalets, tourist and luxury residences and family hotels in the area.

For ski enthusiasts, the resort is ideally placed at the heart of Paradiski, a unique ski area which connects Les Arcs and La Plagne via the Vanoise Express cable car in just 4 minutes (giving you access to 425km of slopes).

When it comes to snow sports, you are spoilt for choice! As well as excellent skiing conditions, you can choose between diverse activities such as heli-skiing, cross-country skiing, glacier hiking, Nordic-walking, dog sledging or even snowshoe walking.

There are a number of shops, more than 30 restaurants, many bars, a library and a cinema for you to enjoy and relax after a day of skiing. Equally you can take a trip around on a sledge pulled by reindeers or simply take in the ambiance during a stroll around the village.
